I know of the Sundowner on East Alisal Street -
In Response To: Re: It's a Downer, Dude! ()

but the only chips identified for that club are the SC ones. I'm guessing the design showing a setting sun was an older one, maybe the first-issue for the cardroom, as the denomination of my chip is a measly Five Cents. There should be an entire series of chips showing the sun (California collectors, pick up your ears!) as that was a custom job and no one would order it just for a 5ยข denom. But to my knowledge no other such chips have appeared - never made it into Cashcoinconnection or ChipGuide. Odd.

Regina's was the last cardroom I know of to have been on East Alisal Street - the location is in a strip mall of sorts. That's the place where I went some years back (then a restaurant) only to find the doorway blocked with yellow Police Tape and a big warning sign, indicating it was Closed By Order of the Department of Health. What, playing poker is unhealthy???

Needless to say - thanks for your input here.

I'll keep my eyes open for that missing Female Pit Bull. Dogs, pick up your ears, too! They're real easy to catch, dangle your bare ankle and they'll bite onto it like a catfish on a worm. Then you just reel 'em in.
