You counted correctly. 20 rows of 30 chips. I met this woodworker guy at the Orange County flea market and I outlined what I wanted and we agreed on a price of $300. I'm guessing this was around the year 2000. I was stunned with what a nice job he did. Each row is a slat of wood that's bevelled so the chip leans back and a shallow circle is drilled for each chip. Plus locking sliding tempered glass doors, Each time I went back to the flea market I would say hi and complement the display. A few years ago I added a UV blocking film to the glass. It's attached to the wall with two steel L-brackets that run the length of the display on the top and bottom. As Torrey correctly stated...It's chip art and is separate from my collection.
