thinking they were from the fun-filled 86 Club in Miami!

Late last night while working at my computer, I heard all sorts of strange noises in my house . . . and got a chilly feeling. Our cats began dashing around for no purpose I could ascertain, except pure terror. Through the kitchen, into the utility room and back toward my roommate's bedroom. I had the uneasy feeling that somebody was watching me through the dining room window, although it was pouring rain and nobody was outside. (Were they?)

All of a sudden I heard soft footsteps crossing the kitchen . . . not cats but a human . . . I jumped up and came face to face with . . . Greg, my roommate who came home early. Phew!!! But, wait, there was one more thing: a lopsided cross, fashioned from two pieces of bark, was now arranged in the hallway leading to Greg's room. Greg laughed it off, saying the cats must have brought in the bark and were just playing with it. BROUGHT IN? That means they were outside in the rain. No way! And who or what "plays" with bark to make a Satanic cross on a carpet?

Later last night, while sleeping and awakening fitfully - I saw my clock kept going out, the plug kept falling from the electrical socket. Is my time running out?

Gotta call Peloton and order an Exerciser-ist.

Wait . . . the IOTD story holds a clue. "Transfer title." Yeah, I gotta sell 'em, fast, on eBay. Look for an auction offering in the near future. Assuming I have a near future left.
