I wrap the chip in a piece of tissue paper, put it in a cardboard coffee cup holder. I put the chip to one side of the coffee holder and tape it tight. The I write a note on a piece of paper, wrap it around the holder and put in a small envelope. Then I tape the outside and mail non-machinable.
