pricing is now set by weight and distance for first class packages
See page 7 for retail (pay at the counter) rates, and page 17 for on-line label prices. The cheapest prices for internet labels - for local shipping and lowest weight - is still $2.66. A one-ounce package shipped cross-country will rise to $3.09, though.
This is going to generate a lot of confusion among those who do not look at pages 7 and 17.
