Fred, I remember watching shows at the Commercial Hotel in the early 70s but the big
names were gone by then. Still, they were pretty good and there were big crowds of
people. I don't think the place had changed much from the forties but it has been remodeled
in recent years. The flavor of the old days is gone and I don't think they have live entertainment
anymore. Sure do miss the good times.
