May not work for everyone but I set the shipping to 10 days on everything because I was off for a 5 day holiday. Then when I came back, changed them all back to 3 business days. That was two years ago, but I did find that solution could be done with the bulk auction editor.

Someone wrote and asked why so long, and I told him the actual day I'd ship. Worked fine. But I didn't have to end all my tool auctions and then re-enter them all.

Somewhere there's a way to bulk edit all auctions shipping preferences.
