ChipGuide lists this one as being from Bisbee, California. But I cannot locate such a city or historical place within the Golden State.

With a kind research assist from Jay Pike (using The Gaming Table), we learned that the chips were delivered in two batches to a Howard Parkinson, first to Bisbee ARIZONA and then to Tucson. Bisbee in Arizona is a relatively well-known town; known for its copper mines and nearby mineral deposits of azurite and malachite, some of which are found in gemstone quality and are coveted by mineralogists.
Can anyone confirm that there is or ever was a Bisbee in California? Otherwise, should the chips be re-assigned to Arizona? They'd be illegals, poker rooms are strictly verboten in the Grand Canyon State.
