Just had an attack on another forum that I have some moderator privileges. Two others were there at the same time. The attack was five or six people or bots. We kept up for about an hour, but it was a losing battle. Forum owner came and wiped them out.

These people created accounts, answered the re-capture the required times, answered the anti BOT questions, posted the minimum messages over time, to have posting rights. Then waited four months to hit us. I really don't understand how posting messages about term papers or irrelevant subjects gets them any benefit. I considered they thought it would be some kind of SEO advantage, but the forums have a NoFollow statement for links. Just useless.
