The examples I show have the same single groove on one side and a wider groove on the orther side with a design. They are similar to your CC chip and the San Sebastian chips. Perhaps, all from the same maker.

Yes, Yes I know the metal work is not the same
Perhaps. Could have been for structural purposes.
