The crest is definitely an English crest. The two chips are, I believe, American.

So, did the Cubits settle in America? The crest designs are very specific. This leads me to believe there is some connection between the two chips. Maybe grandfather Cubit owned a saloon in Colorado and grandson Cubit ordered chips for the family? (I wish)
