Fellow Chip Collectors,
I need your help with a project I am working inside the Chipguide. Last spring I noticed that some of the casino information was out of date for Oklahoma casino. With the help of Albert and the crew we were able to get the states casino information updated. However, I have noticed that this problem was not just tied to just Oklahoma but all of the states need some updating.
So I joined that admin team to help with this issue. What I will be doing is looking at the following items that deal with the casino data and not the items listed under them. So if you know of some information that needs to be updated please go to the bottom of this post to find my contact information and you can email me directly to make the changes.
What will be updated.
Casino Status. Is the casino still open or has it closed.
Slots Only. Did the casino have tables but no longer has them and is slots only or did they never have tables and should be slots only.
Is the Website URL not directing to the right location or is it missing all together.
Is the address or numbers not correct.
Here are some examples I found with just a quick search last night.
Closed and Name Change:
4-Way casino in Wells Nevada is listed as still open. However, Alamo Travel center is also listed as open at the same address. From the quick search on Facebook it looks like 4-way Casino is now called Alamo Travel Center and should be closed. Also the Alamo Travel Center looks to be slots only and should be marked as that.
Missing Website URL example.
The Alamo Casino in Mill City Nevada does not list the website. A quick internet search gave me the current site plus what kind of gaming they offer. They only offer slots so this casino would need to be marked as Slots Only.

As you can see with some of the bigger states this will take a long time to research what is wrong and what the right information is and this is where I need your help. If you have some time please let me know if you would be willing to help out and take a state or two to help clean up some of the casino information. As with any research I will need proof of anything you send me especially with open and closing dates or name changes.
