I saw this cool photo in the men's room at the local Tahoe Joe's restaurant. I think it is labeled "Tahoe City" which is one of the early towns on the North Shore - it is located right where Highway 89 hits the lake coming over from what is now I-80. It is about 10 miles inside California south of Crystal Bay so the slots were illegal there. Looks like the a horse race book too.
