The Hall of Fame procedure has been posted on the Club chatboard.
While the procedure does not list "groups", it does list "person" and "member" as singular.
Any possible group of club members could always be recommended as individuals.
One problem with recommending a group is that it is an all or nothing option.
While some of the group may be well qualified there could also be part of the group that
may not be recommendation material. Using a group would be unfair to all its members.
I AM NOT SAYING THIS IS THE CASE IN THIS DISCUSSION THREAD.
Just pointing out a downfall of recommending a group.
Another problem that could exist is in the final voting procedure for Hall of Fame
members. Each member is allowed three votes on the final ballot. Does a group of
three receive one only one vote because it is a group, or is the group of three using all three available votes?
The voting procedure for groups needs to be discussed. The one or three option could affect the total votes
attributed to other nominated candidates and affect their chances to be possible inductees.
