The odds that a specific number (10) will occur 6 times is properly reported as 1/38 to the 6th power. The odds that the same number will come up 6 times in a row is 1/38 to the fifth power because the first time it can be any number.
This proves my point: people have trouble calculating the odds of the first number. If the first number is already known, it is 1/1. If the first number has to be predicted, it's 1/38.
