Re: ChipGuide: ivory chip from White’s, London

Interesting. I would like to know the age, too. The W appears to be running into both rings; while the ring pigment appears to be much lighter than what's in the field on both sides (seems a bit uncommon). Which, could have been a blank, stock chip. Not uncommon for blanks to be engraved afterwards. The G unit was in use (England) up to 1813.
