I'm a big proponent of big blind antes. I wish every tournament instituted it.

I know some don't like it, as when a tournament gets deep it can be unfair when Independent Chip Model (ICM) considerations come into play.

The fact is it does speed up a tournament, so you get more hands in each level.

Nothing worse than when the dealer has to remind players EVERY hand to put in their antes..it really slows down the game.

I'm also a fan of a shot clock, but only a few tournaments offer it..but that's a topic for another thread..
