Just got back to our room after walking around most of today. Hit up a couple of antique stores along the way. Antique stores in France ...actually mean ANTIQUES!! In the US...antique stores are really just old stuff ...mostly not antique. They also specialize in certain area of expertise. 1 shop might be all paintings..while the shop next door is all statues , furniture or lamps.

Went into this place by the port. Maybe 20-25 single room shops. 10 x10 rooms. 3 of those had a jeton or 2 in them.

The chips in this window...Red were in decent shape, but the yellow were warped badly. He wanted 10€ each so got 2 of the red. (I had a trader?)

The white chip appears to be ivory ...has CL ?? On it
The Venezia chip was in another lady’s shop. I asked her about it...she said she knew nothing about it and wanted to give it to me as a gift. I insisted on paying for it.....so she says 10cents...I ended up giving her 1€ for it.
