The big $1.6 billion jackpot Mega Millions lottery drawing is over. There is at least one jackpot winner -- in South Carolina. I said I'd give 10% of my proceeds to the Club, and that would be - da da da -- 60-cents! No applause necessary.
I had two tickets. On one ticket, nothing. On the other, I hit just the Mega Ball number, which --what with the multiplier I paid for -- comes to $6 payout. In a sense the net proceeds are zero. I paid $6 for the two tickets, and "won" $6.
