I may have the answer ....
When I became the CC & GTCC Founding President back in 1988, (a position I held for 10 years, until 1999) I was a young 50 years of age and still working at the phone company. I made a lot of friends and acquaintenances in this hobby during that period and beyond (and a few not so friendly people). Many of those friends were often thought of as a "click" ... as Joe Pavlick and a few others called us. I am now 80 years old (see how time flies when you are having so much fun). Some of those friends are no longer living today, I am very fortunate to have outlasted many of them, a fact that I will not apologize for. Life is precious, enjoy it while you are still living on this beautiful rock in space orbit. Life is too short to be caught up in all this negativity as former President Doug Smith has pointed out. Live and let live! Respect those who are no longer able to speak for themselves.
