Glenn, Claudine told me while she was preparing for her opening her lawyer came to her and advised her that there could be a problem with the Holiday Queen name. She prepared a contingency plan which was mostly signage and marketing items. She contacted Kemmons Wilson, founder of Holiday Inns, they hit it off, and he said there was no problem with the name. She eventually bought a franchise and had the largest Holiday Inn in the country. She was sure she had not ordered any River Queen chips because of the expense. She did say marketing had ordered several items that had to be printed. Matches, place mats, cocktail napkins for sure, and maybe even some dice. I have a photo of her throwing the original Holiday Queen chips into the cement when she did a major remodel. Hope this helps, Jim
