For one or two chips I use coffee cup holders. Cost, zero. I never had a problem. I wrap the chip in a bit of tissue and put it to one side of the holder so the envelope can bend in the middle. Then I put a piece of tape on each open end and make it tight to ensure the chip don't move. I wrap a piece of paper around the holder with a note. I do pay the 71 cents non machinable rate.
