Hi Carl, the short answer is some of the Hotel keys did not have room numbers stamped on the key. When you are purchasing be sure that you don't get a non-period key attached to the FOB which sellers some time do. Especially if its and expensive key and if it should have a room number stamped on it. I have an extensive key collection so if you have any questions feel free and I can check .
