I didn't evacuate for hurricane Sandy and I regretted it. It was too stressful watching the entire first floor of my home get filled with water and being helpless to do anything. Between that and feeling the house shake all night, hearing pieces of roof flying off, trees falling outside and cars floating down the block banging off each other, the entire experience was something I'd just as soon be elsewhere for next time around. --- I understand the desire to stay, but I ain't doing that again.
