Good Day Folks, it is good to be back home again. Nancy and I took a one week trip and went up to Pennsylvania to Nancy's family reunion. It was most interesting, each day seemed to present different little problems. Today's pages are all face value, 5 pages of $1 chips. Also, I want to reoffer my North/Central Florida harvests. Please use this link for a a quick hook up:
A few are gone like the $5 Ocala, the $25 Orange city. Thanks for checking in with me today. Summer is over and it is time to get back to some serious chip collection. Reggie

PRICING IS ALWAYS A CHALLENGE. IN SOME CASES I HAVE PAID A HIGHER PRICE THAN I WANTED TO, IN ORDER TO MAKE THAT PARTICULAR ITEM AVAILABLE TO YOU THE COLLECTOR. SO, WHEN I GET DOWN TO OR CLOSE TO THE PRICE I PAID FOR THE ITEM I HAVE TO STOP THE PRICE REDUCTION.
MANY OF YOU ARE AWARE THAT WHEN I DISPLAY MY CHIPS WITH THE “HANG A SOLD SIGN” ON IT DISPLAYS ARE ON A REVERSE AUCTION PRICING SYSTEM. ONCE IN A WHILE YOU WILL SEE THE WORD “LOCK” BESIDE THE PRICE. THIS SIMPLY MEANS THE PRICE IS NOT GOING ANY LOWER.
MY PAGES OF THE DAY ARE ON A REVERSE AUCTION AS WELL, BUT WHEN I GET DOWN TO FACE VALUE, THERE IS NOT MUCH WIGGLE ROOM. THE NICER CHIPS IN THE PAGES OF THE DAY ARE ON A REVERSE AUCTION, AND I TRY TO REMEMBER TO LOWER THEM EACH TIME THEY ARE SHOWN WHICH IS ABOUT ONCE EVERY 3-4 MONTHS.
I THOUGHT, SOME OF YOU WOULD BE INTERESTED IN KNOWING HOW IT IS THAT I PRICE SOME OF THE NICER PIECES THAT I OFFER.
PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE IN OFFERING TRADES AND FAIR CASH OFFERINGS FOR SOMETHING THAT YOU WOULD REALLY LIKE TO HAVE IN YOUR COLLECTION. SINCERELY…REGGIE

It was a dark and stormy night. Well, night, so DUH, dark. Not stormy, so much as a heavy almost foggy mist falling so fast that you had to keep the wipers on high, even though there was not that much water involved. Navigating San Diego's freeways takes a bit of doing for the tourist on a bright sunny day. Midnight in the mist was ever so fun.
So anyway, I get to the casino (after driving right past it and having to make a U-ey) Checked out the place riding my scooter all around. Pleasing decor, friendly people for the most part. I settled in at a Fortune Pai Gow table. $10 min bet, not bad. Couple of bucks on the Fortune bet and who knows what else. They play Pai Gow differently here than the way I was brought up on it. Jokers count as any card, not just Aces, Straights and Flushes. Wonderful! I've got Queen Joker + misc junk for my high hand and a pair of dueces low. Not looking too bad. Dealers hand was also 2 pair: Kings and Jacks. Taking my harvested chips and running fast ( as did another player at the table) I rode over to the cashier to turn in the extras that were not going home with me.
He was not busy and seemed bored. I was able to start a conversation with him, and he sold me other chips that I'd not gotten from the table. (a $2 and a $10) He went through several chips in his racks and apologized for the condition: played quite a bit. I told him I was happy to have them anyway. Thank You! I asked if any commons or G.O. or other goodies that might be laying around. He told me of $20 chips that they'd ordered but not used much that were locked up in the vault, but no other special chips. We kept talking and I mentioned the MOGH and the ChipGuide. He went back to the cupboard and asked were there pictures of these in the ChipGuide.
So I quicky snapped the some pictures. I guess he was not worried about a guy riding a scooter making off with the chips from his counter. This was the first time I've been able to engage a cashier in a conversation. Almost worth the loss at the Pai Gow (~buzz~ Not!) but a fun midnight trip nontheless.
Steve
P.S. I've submitted them to the ChipGuide!

SEVEN FEATHERS CASINO IS CONVENIENTLY LOCATED ON THE INTERSTATE FIVE, IN A VERY BEAUTIFUL AREA OF OREGON. I HAVE STOPPED THERE TWO DIFFERENT TIMES ON MY BI-ANNUAL TRIPS UP TO MY MONTANA FAMILY REUNIONS.
ON ONE OF THESE TRIPS I GOT INVOLVED IN A HOLD’EM GAME, IT WAS PRETTY WILD. I DO NOT REMEMBER THE FINAL OUTCOME, BUT I SAT THERE AND SORTED OUT CHIPS FOR CLOSE TO 4 HOURS. AT THIS TIME ALL OF THEIR CHIPS WERE STARTING TO GET THRASHED, AND THIS WAS BEFORE THEIR RECENT NEW RACK. AT THIS TIME THEY HAD THREE DIFFERENT ONE DOLLAR CHIPS ON THE TABLES. COW CREEK, SEVEN FEATHERS, AND SEVEN FEATHERS WITH A GOLD RING.
AS I WAS SEPARATING THE CHIPS INTO 3 DIFFERENT STACKS, ACTUALLY 4 DIFFERENT STACKS COUNTING MY MEAGER PLAYING STACK; I NOTICE PEOPLE WATCHING ME, AND I USED THIS CURIOSITY AS AN OPENING TO ENGAGE THEM IN CONVERSATION ABOUT CHIP COLLECTING. WHEN I GOT TEN OF ONE OF THE FAVORED STACKS, I WOULD GET UP AND PRETEND TO CASH THEM IN, BUT I SLIPPED THEM IN MY CARGO PANTS POCKETS AND CONTINUED THE HARVEST UNTIL I HAD ALL THIRTY CHIPS I WANTED AND THE FEW FIVES I NEEDED. THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY SNAPPERS AND I DID NOT SEE ANY $2’s, $3’s OR $4’s. BUT, SOONER OR LATER THE FUN HAD TO COME TO AN END, AND I CASHED EVERYTHING I WANTED TO IN AND GOT THE ROAD AGAIN. I HAD HARVESTED WHAT I NEEDED FOR A VERY LONG TIME. REGGIE
