Years ago we were visiting my wife`s sister and husband in which was about 5 blocks away from our house. We were all out in the back yard in the swimming pool. Didn`t realize the front door was unlocked and someone came in and took my wife`s sister`s purse and brother inlaws wallet off the kitchen table and fled with a lot of money and all the same articles missing with your wife`s purse, fortunate for us , my wife took her purse with her in the back yard and I had my wallet in my pants pocket. So two of us fortunate and the other two , not soooooo. As we get older, we can`t remember a lot of things, something so simple as to check the doors to make sure they are locked. Our doors are always locked. When one of us leave, the other always makes sure the door is locked. Changing world, no one can be trusted. Well almost no one. Sorry you and your wife had to experience such a situation. Remember , when in doubt, always double check yourself. Ron
