John; It's been tried near AC before … at the Ocean City Music Pier. Many collectors came for the trade session the day before opening day, but most did not return the next day when they had to pay admission. Dealers (and collectors) coming from out of state, paying for table fees, food, lodging and travel expenses don't want to come for just one day. Would you come up from Florida to attend?

Bottom line is; it is very difficult to get somebody willing to serve as show chairman, which is the FIRST STEP. CC & GTCC is very fortunate to have so many willing volunteers to assist … our greatest asset. Atlantic City is not Las Vegas, never was, never will be. Having said that, the city is on the rebound. It has never been cleaner, lots of new housing and shopping and the crime rate is way down. Folks need to get out of the casinos, leave the boardwalk and explore the city's restaurants and attractions.
