The Goodwill flea market is light on vendors and even lighter on gambling items but I lucked out on Saturday morning. A couple of items are not on the ChipGuide (yet!) - some others are scarce. There were other chips (like GVCC $5 and Shadowbrook Inn 25¢) that I passed on. The old red and black tokens are Chilean Saltpeter Mining Company Scrip made of Vulcanite plastic, dating back to 1905 or so. And I didn't have to speak Chilean to buy them! I don't know if they were also used for gambling but at a saltpeter mine . . . what else is there to do? (Think about it.)
