Rich, first time I went to Havasu was in the early 70s, only a year or so after the bridge
was dedicated. There wasn't much there yet-I remember a lot of vacant land and dirt. I
spent the night in my camper and I remember a cop banging on my door wanting to know
what I was doing there. Must have been quite a project moving that thing all the way from
London. You can still see the numbers on the stones. The bridge was built in the desert
and then flooded to form the lake. Looked for you Tuesday.
