I drove out of our mid city apartment complex I saw a fawn across the street ducking behind a house; not unusual--in Dewitt, NY we have a large number of unwanted deer. But as I drove past the last building there on a large lawn fronting the highway were a doe and buck standing together and watching their two 3/4 grown fawns gambol (not gamble) about, chasing each other. I suspect the other fawn I saw may have tried to join the play and got shooed away.
