Two years ago I went to yard sales every Friday and Saturday to try to buy jewelry and other things and normally had a list of about 10 stops to make each day. I would get the addresses from a service I subscribed to. Normally there would be 10-20 sales and I would pick from the best ones. This year the service comes up with maybe one sale total in the areas I am interested in. So I started going to mainly estate sales. Have to pay more for the jewelry and fight off the competition. Today I went to an estate sale and spent a lot of time driving on the side streets and kept my eyes open for yard sale signs. In 70 miles of travelling I saw two signs and one of the sales I could not find (it may have been an old sign). Have yard sales everywhere died out completely or just here in Nashville?
