is clearly a hot stamp, whereas the red text appears to be silk screened (it does not appear to be pressed into the chip, but rather is on top of it without indentation). Looks like the name was added onto an existing 50 cent chip. By the way, is the cent sign used for fractions of Euros (I have no idea)?
