That's a record price for an ashtray . There was not one known in any condition before this one showed up . The tray would be 65 years old and it would have had to been kept in a padded cloth bag to be as mint as it is . I enlarged it and could not find a single scratch on it .In the pass there has been phony Cal-Neva trays made and one from the mint .I'm not saying that this is a phony but I'd like to know its history .
