Oh Bill Bradley...every player already is a roulette chip. What gets left out of his conversation is the fact that people are already betting on the games - it's just not legal in many cases. I once found a notebook in a lecture hall (at a previous university that I taught at). I looked in it to see if the student put his or her name in it so I could try to return it. When I opened it what I found were games listed, odds, and bets. It was the notebook of a student bookie. I'd rather the betting be legal and above board.
