First, that hat does not look particularly old. And, not especially nice, either (well, that's my personal aesthetic, I guess). Second, hard to believe it will sell at anything close to that price, but then, I don't look at hat prices for Las Vegas casinos, so what do I know? I find for the casino stuff, that my instincts have been pretty good over the years for the Aruba stuff. My advice is to follow your instincts. After it doesn't sell for 2 rounds, try again. I find that's what it takes sometimes to get sellers to be more realistic.
