Both of the competing Indian casinos have free parking and great buffets - but then they don't have Lake Tahoe. I've got to think the old time owners like Bill Harrah & Harvey Gross are turning over in their graves. Every place that has become a "corporate" operation has cut back on friendliness and freebies. The bean counter types see all the space devoted to parking as just another profit center rather than a draw to getting folks in the club. Bah Humbug.... I guess the move won't have much impact their profits from me - I don't think I have been in either place in at least 5 years. There was a time when I would make it up there about once a month but now I just go to Thunder Valley or to the Nugget in Sparks - good food and free parking.
