First ...let’s take a step back....

These chips (image from ChipGuide) couldnt be from the Lafayette Hall. The Lafayette Hall started in Sacramento sometime in the early 1860’s. John Hector ran it on the corner of Kst and 3rd St.

The last listing in the directories was in 1963 (that I saw).

West Sacramento
10-25-1975 ....10+ years after the Lafayette Hall was closed.

Those 3 chips , along with a chocolate 10c (both sides 10c) were the only chips on the card.

**** There are 2 different fonts of LLS...1 went to Lucky Lady Saloon....the other to El Rancho Motel, 2 months after the LH Chips. ...but not to LLoyd Hickey. (There goes my Lloyd loves Sunny (LLS)theory!!) 🤔
