As most know Wyatt Earp was associated with the Oriental Saloon. There is an ivory chip on eBay purporting to be from the Oriental. The chip, if it was a plain $5 chip would be worth $50 (without the modification) give or take. Having the Oriental connection upped the opening bid to $884.

My take— the chip is a plain $5 that somebody etched the name of the saloon on one side. In my opinion the chip is worth $25. It was modified to fool an unsuspecting buyer
