There is an oddly-named street "Los Coyotes Diagonal" in the north-eastern part of Long Beach. I couldn't find a cross-street called "Fox" but one may have once existed. Or a Fox Movie Theatre or some other such business, near where the mysterious card room may have been. Los Coyotes bisects the Great Circle of Long Beach, where Route 1 makes an unexpected turn to the southeast (toward Seal Beach with its BEB chips). If I were running an illegal card room, I would have it somewhere near the Great Circle!
