Just for fun, I did a little more research on the Orbit Inn. In 1974, it changed ownership and the new owner opened a small casino, subsequently issuing their first issue chips in 1976. Prior, it was just a motel that is only known today because of the dynamite explosion that took place in the 60's....Not sure why, but for some reason the $100 chip with the little spaceship on it just makes me smile.
