The best way to find out is to check the inlay under a UV light. I do not have the the alleged new chip, but the prior old chips in the ChipGuide all have a LARGE Hat & Cane in position 1 (the hook of the cane is on the right side of the Hat) either on the center or very close to the center of the inlay.

I am about to return 9 duplicates to Harrahs and I will check the UV mark on a few of the new/shorter looking inserts.
