Let me preface this by saying that I had a bad cold and just felt lousy, but still managed to have a great time:
1. I checked in on Wednesday morning and loved the smiles that greeted me. I took a selfie in front of our banner, and was thrilled when Archie Black walked over and asked me if I'd like for him to take my photo (my arms are really too short for great selfies). Our members are nicer than nice!
2. I had a wonderful time volunteering at the CCA tables from 9-11 on Thursday. I interacted with so many wonderful members, and sold lots of shirts and other club items.
3. After I was done volunteering I went to my usual first stop (hi, Doug!) and found the three chips that I was looking for. Happy happy!
4. Bummer: Had to check out of my room at 1 p.m
5. Happy: Back up at the show to look at more items (and buy more). Waited to hear my name called for the raffle. I still seem to be waiting (giggle).
6. Rested in a comfy chair at the sports book in the afternoon.
7. Loved the auction. I had to leave before it was over to get to the airport, but it is an event I always enjoy attending.
8. I look forward to seeing everyone next year!
