The Club's annual, Earlybird Banquet was fabulous!!!

Kudos to Emcee Wayne Thompson for an excellently managed event, as well as leading us in a moment of silence for the collectors we lost in the past year. We then enjoyed a delicious buffet fare. Following dessert, the Keynote Speaker gave us a wonderful insight into casino surveillance. The speaker, as arranged by Jim Kruse, was Mr. Ted Whiting, VP MGM Resorts International, Corporate Surveillance, who's PowerPoint presentation included many video snippets of cheaters.

Following the presentation, Club President Jerry Vergatos asked MoGH Chairman, Charles Kaplan to announce the inaugural winner of the MoGH's Chairman Award, Jim Follis.

President Vergatos then announced the following winners of the annual recognition awards.

Article of the Year - Ed Hertel
Book of the Year - The Chip Rack (Sands Sarles Spragg)
Recruiter of the Year - Doug Smith
Greg Susong Award - Jim Follis
President's Award - Steve Miller and Robb McPherson
President's Award - David Spragg

This was followed by the Hall of Fame Chairman, Eric Rosenblum, announcing the newest inductee, Charles Kaplan.
