The inlays for the China Club chips were printed in two separate passes. One for the red and one for the black. The intention is to have them all look the same but, in reality there are probably no two inlays with the black and red printing EXACTLY aligned. Then, the inlays were probably die cut with the scalloped shape. Again, there are probably no two that align with the type. It would be just a chance happening if it did. In the photo below you can see how the black stars do not align with the red type on each inlay. Eack color was printed at a different time.
