As noted by Robert Pardue, Michael was the Club's Guest Speaker at the 2009 Early-Bird Convention Banquet. He brought along 2 cocktail girls, each with a rack of $5 chips, that they handed out the chips to attendees. My son Casey, and I, each received one, and I also asked Mr. Gaughan to autograph them, as can be seen here.

Unfortunately, it would seem that no good deed goes unpunished. Years later, I heard that Nevada Gaming hit Mr. Gaughan with a fine for handing out the chips!
