I've been doing homework, and I think the truck is totaled. I have insurance with Geico, comprehensive with a $100 deductable. Every time I look at the truck I see/remember more things that were in the bed. We have renters insurance too, so maybe I can get some reimbursement for the stuff that got barbecued.

KBB's value on the truck is out by a lot. Double their estimate won't get me a replacement off of Craigslist or Auto Trader. I sure hope the Insurance doesn't give me a bad time with a lowball settlement offer. For the person who suggested State Farm was really good with claims, they'd have to be, as they wanted more than double the amount Geico charges me. Best insurance company anywhere is Wawanesa, but they don't write policies in Nevada :-(

Didn't hardly sleep last night, Monday Morning starts the endless phone calls and paperwork.

I'm going to try to convince the Fire Investigators to actually investigate, as the dashcam video from the truck shows the kids that were playing around the truck. I know a couple of them. At the time the fire started they ran... If they didn't set it, they must have seen who did.
