Understood, but if you did walk on the boardwalk it was certainly not inviting. 100-200 feet of boardwalk frontage and it was mostly a nice wall and 2 little curved entrances with understated signs that you had to look for. Compare that to any other casino on the boardwalk with a million doors and signs at boardwalk level.

Perfect reflection of not wanting people on the boardwalk coming in, they wanted the beautiful people in $80k cars driving in to visit their clubs and high end restaurants.

As someone wiser said they thought of themselves of a "resort" that happened to have a casino as an amenity, not as a "Casino Resort". I had to laugh in the last year they had a huge campaign of "gamblers wanted" where they were refunding 50% of your loss at the end of the summer. Well they certainly didn't want gamblers at the beginning. They completely misunderstood the marketing in AC.

Whatever you want to call it, apparently they are getting rid of it somehow and (I am guessing) making entering from the boardwalk a little more inviting...

I have high hopes for this place, I though the casino was on par with Borgata and the ocean views from the casino floor and open deck higher up were unmatched...
