I spoke with him (via email) a few years ago, but have since changed computers, so I don't have that email any longer.
He was known as "Mr. PNW" (Mr. Pacific Northwest), as I'm sure you recall, based on his catalogs from that area. He had/has some really nice Nevada chips too. A really great guy, but I think you are correct that he's not active in chip collecting any longer. Last I heard he had become a school teacher, now married, enjoying his life in Idaho.
