Hi Alex ... when the Sahara Hotel closed down it's Baccarat Room ... I purchased all of the equipment including the Plaques for 2 games ... upon pick up ... things got a little crazy ... I was told the Plaques were not available and I could purchase only the tables games, shoes, drop boxes chip trays & lids ... chairs & stools . After protesting that we had a done deal ... they said they would greatly reduce the price of the tables etc. to make me happy and promised to call me when the could release the Plaques... well you guessed it ... someone either paid a lot more than me or it was an inside Casino Executive that got them.

About a year ago a nicely dressed gentleman came into my downtown Las Vegas store with a large briefcase full of Sahara Plaques ... my mouth was wide open ... super nice! He wanted big bucks and said he had more in San Diego where he lived ... he wanted me to make him a big offer for all of them ... I told him my (almost) story and he said he obtained them from a former Sahara employee ... he did not to get into details about his inventory. All I know is he was going around town with them shopping to get some big bucks ... maybe (Pawn Stars?) ... I posted this information on the board last year and I have not heard anything further about these beauties .... I do know that they will all show up sometime ... so everyone has been told ... do not pay too much! .... Take Care Alex .... Rich Burgel
