I got this "promotional" chip at the Nugget in Sparks this week. It turned out to be a bit on the expensive side as I lost my entire buy in at the Craps table to get enough "points" to earn a free $5 chip. I printed out the coupon at the player's kiosk and took it to the cashiers cage to pick up the chip. They told me about all the other denominations - they are all listed on the chip guide - I assume they were acquired by some one much better at craps than I am. What is most interesting about the chip is that it still says "John Ascuaga's Nugget" even though the place has been sold twice. I kind of wonder if these aren't left over tournament chips from back when John Ascuaga still owned the place. Do these ever come up for sale?
